About Us

The Factories & Boilers Organisation is an enforcement Directorate of the State Government and is responsible for enforcement of 19 Central Act and Rules in the State of Tripura in respect of Safety, Health and Welfare of the workers working in various factories all over the State.

The Headquarter of Factories & Boilers Organisation is housed in its own Government building at Gorkhabasti, Pandit Nehru Complex, PO-Kunjaban, Agartala-799006. It has two District Offices, one in the South Tripura District at Udaipur and the other in the North Tripura District at Kailashahar, which also looks after the Dhalai district works.

Each district office is headed by one Inspector of Factories, a senior Class-I Gazetted officer. The Chief Inspector of Factories & Boilers is the Head of Department.
